Pink corundum is made of metallurgical grade chromium oxide and industrial alumina as raw materials, and chromium corundum is obtained by chemical reaction under high temperature conditions above 2000 ℃. The product has good high temperature thermal stability, erosion resistance, erosion resistance and abrasion resistance. The chromium corundum is pink, the hardness is similar to that of white corundum, and the toughness is higher than that of white corundum.
Pink corundum castable is used for ramming in bottom of ladle, castable and corundum brick. Compared with other castables, it has the following advantages: no ash joints, that is, good integrity. The construction is convenient, especially the construction of complex structures, which is convenient, fast, labor-saving, time-saving and labor-saving. The castable has strong gas corrosion resistance, and at the same time, because the bulk density is greater than 2.95g/cm3, the castable has good air tightness. The refractory temperature of chromium corundum can reach 1800 degrees, has good thermal shock resistance and impact resistance, high toughness, and high elastic modulus.
